On 7 March, we visited Lavapiés, a Madrid neighbourhood that breathes humility and community at every corner. Aware of the difficulties faced by this neighbourhood, we decided to contribute in a positive way and spend time together in an atmosphere of solidarity and fellowship.
We immersed ourselves in its welcoming atmosphere, admiring the graffiti and murals that tell stories of its inhabitants and their unique culture.
Lavapiés is a neighbourhood made up of narrow streets into which we wandered visiting the local shops and bars where we tasted the delicious food, including the typical Spanish tapas or the delicious paella.
We continued visiting emblematic places such as the Valle-Inclán Theatre or the historic San Lorenzo Church... As we walked through the streets, we came across picturesque corners and charming buildings, each with its own history.
